Catherine Edelman Gallery is thrilled to launch its newest program, Art Speaks, that takes place in the gallery every second Saturday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. This new year-round initiative invites local writers and poets to read pieces they have written based on the theme present in the exhibition on view, providing a venue for local writers to share their work.  Our goal is to encourage and stimulate creative expression in an interdisciplinary setting, offering an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate and form connections.

The next event in the series will be held on Saturday, September 14 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

CEG is hosting six writers who will be responding to the phrase I am…” in conjunction with the the exhibition Sandro Miller: I am Papua New Guinea. The work being read will range from poetry to fiction, experimental to narrative. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
